Born in 1945 at Kyaik-latt (delta) and in 1964 studied at Yangon Fine Arts School.
After graduation, he continued the study under the mastership of leading artists;U Thein Han, U Thein Nyunt and U Kyee Sein. Throughout his lifetime he served at Ministries as art instructor and as art teachers at many govrnment's schools.
He also participated in more than 50 group and solo shows while he has won 38 art prizes at various occasions from 1964 to 1990.
He is an energetic painter as well as dedicated artist and active member of Insight Watercolour Community.
