Born in 1939 at Phyapon(delta) and studied art from U Ba Thar, U Ngwe Gaing and U San Win until 1955.
1957-58: studied art at Teacher Training College and also from U Hla Shein and U Ba Kyi.
1960: continued his career as illustrator for magazines and periodicals.
1962: his art gallery in Yangon was one of the earliest galleries ever opened in Myanmar.
At present he is the vice President of Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans Organization(Central).
Collections: many of his paintings are held at Emporium Hall of Defence Ministry, Drug Museum, hotels, Fukuoka Exhibition Hall, Japan and other famouse places throughout the country.
