Born in 1934 at Moatama near Maulamyaing studied art from old masters such as U Ohn Maung, U Tin Hla, U San Win, U Harry Aung and U M.Tin Aye.
He is involved in wall sheet posters, film and cinema posters till the age of 50 and continued to draw oil and watercolour paintings. He is full time artist and member of Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans Organization.
He has participated in many group and solo art shows.
He is an active member of Insight Watercolour Community.
