Born on 30-3-1936 at Sanchaung, Yangon.
Since 1951 he started art study under the mastership of old masters such as U Ba Nyein, U San Shein, U Nyan Shein, U Aye Tin, U San WIn and U Thein Han.
1959-1996 : He served in Ministry of Education as art teacher. And in 1964 he was in charge of Outstanding Student Program (Ngapali Camp) as well as news editor.
1966: He illustrated in many educational text books.
At present, after many group and solo shows, he is a member of Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans Organization (Central) (MTAAO) as well as President of MTAAO (Hlaing Township, Yangon).
He is an active member of Insight Watercolour Community.
